Carla A. Maté Furtina
Carla A. Maté Furtina is a Speech and Language Therapist specialising in Voice Disorders, with over 20 years of clinical and hospital experience in both the public and private sectors.
She holds a diploma from the Higher Education Centre of the Lusíada Foundation in Brazil and is a specialist in Voice Pathology from the University of Alcalá in Madrid.
She also holds an Advanced Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention, specialising in Workplace Safety.
Her work focuses on the assessment, diagnosis and treatment of voice disorders, particularly dysphonia, as well as voice rehabilitation and neurorehabilitation.
She provides personalised care aimed at improving each patient’s communication, wellbeing and quality of life. She undertakes continuing professional development in Speech and Language Therapy, Audiology and Phoniatrics.
